 parampara... Parampara is a Sanskrit term that denotes the passing down of knowledge from guru to disciple. In popular parlance parampara means holding to traditions and the old ways. For Western b  usiness people coming to India parampara is regarded an obstacle to change and innovation. From the Hindu perspective it means: this is the way we have always done it, and it works just fine - why change? Let's keep to the traditional way. Chalta hai means patience, having a calm attitude and inner peace: 'don't worry - it will happen - eventually.' Parampara is formally known as guru-shishya parampar, a Sanskrit term that means an unbroken tradition of passing down knowledge from guru to disciple (shishya). The first thing a shishya must learn is 'chalta hai' - patience.
